Server Account
 

You will be given an account on the our department's web server machine csweb01.csueastbay.edu

• create a subdirectory named public_html
• place all of your HTML files in your public_html directory. This directory and any sub-directories should be of mode rwxr-xr-x
• you can as desired make sub-directories inside of your public_html directory and I encourage you to do so for each project,etc.
• The url leading up to your main public_html directory will be http://csweb01.csueastbay.edu/~login

You will need to get an account on the BlackBoard System for our class. BlackBoard is a commercial product for course management. We may be using it for its Communication Features (virtual classroom). Hence you will need to get an account for our class. This is how I will communicate with you via email through blackboard, and postings on there in addition to our website
