Concept -

Using GitHub Issues + Projects (or alternatively Trello) to manage distribution and assignment of work items to group mates. This is how you can split up work for into smaller pieces and assign the first draft of it to individuals in your team. Then I suggest you have reviewers look at these items when they are done for review and finally review it all together in your group meetings.

GitHub Issues - (for each task create and issue and assign to someone)
GitHub Project - (select a project template with an issues board)
GitHub Milestone (grouping issues and setting a deadline)
