Measuring Team Contributions

 

 

Team contributions can be measured one way through Github ->repositories->Insights and there are multiple options including contributor's individual contirubtions in terms of number of commits and number of lines, etc

For example for "grewe" user:

• 9,444 ++ green colour indicate grewe user's added lines and 268 -- red colour indicate grewe user's remove or replace lines.

How this can be utilized for Group Work:
If a student does not have at least 10% contribution to lines of codes relative to all users (green added lines) then this student will have points deducted for them against their score relative to the intial team's score.
