Project 9.1 - Web

(Due- March 5 and 12)

 

You are to create a web-site using Dreamweaver or a equivalent tool that represents yourself. This is to include contact information, an image, a resume featuring work experience, educational experience, skills, hobbies. You MUST have a minimum of 3 web pages as part of your website that are interconnected.

This will be something that you create a link to from your Linked-in (http://linkedin.com) page you will also need to create an account for.
 
Purpose of Project
The purpose of this Project is to learn about web site design and creation.

Phase 9.1.a - Due March 5

Evaluate a website and discuss in class using This form from CS2020 YOU CHOOSE the website you want to evaluation TIP: say you are a psychology major --then search for a website for a person who has a related job..Example type in "Psychologist" or "Psychology Consultant" into Yahoo! or Google and find a website. A website is MORE than one web page and is not a pdf of someones resume.

PHASE 9.1.b - Due March 5

You are to create a design document as discussed in class (must be a word document). You are to present this document to your instructor who will give you feedback before implementing your web site.

PHASE 9.1.c - Due March 12

In this phase you will implement your website. You will upload and test it on puzzle account that you got in email from Richard Uhler at start of class and you will demonstrate to the class your results.

You will attach this resume as a link on your linked-in account.

Project Deliverables

1)Phase 9.1.a: Post your evaluation of a public website to Blackboard->Discussion Board -> Project 9.1.a***

2) Phase 9.1.b: Post your design document (a word document file) as an attachment to a posting to Blackbaord->Discussion Board->Project 9.1.b***

3) Phase 9.1.c: Demonstrate your "personal website" in class to your instructor. It must be uploaded on your puzzle account. Turn in the URL to YOUR website http://puzzle.sci.csueastbay.edu/~YOUR_NET_ID by BOTH email me the URL           and posting to Blackboard->DiscussionBoard->Project9.1.c
