How to View HTML Source


You can view the HTML source of a page you are viewing using your browser (e.g. Netscape). This is useful as you will see the HTML coding. With your understanding of HTML which you will obtain from this class, you can get ideas for good design from any page on the Web.

Steps to view HTML source using Netscape's Browser

  1. From your browser, go to the Webpage you want to view.
  2. From the menu of Netscape (or another browser) look for the option called "View Source" usually under the "View menu" at the top of the browser.
